The Federal Employees’ Retirement System is based on Social Security; therefore, it has become increasingly important that individuals in the Human Resources Offices have a basic knowledge of Social Security in order to explain the new system as well as the interaction between CSRS and Social Security.

This 3-day training session provides participants with a basic understanding of the Social Security System and the concept and computation of the annuity supplement.
